In the workshop, there are always multiple displays in progress. One piece often takes centre stage in my mind, but sometimes the lure of finding new treasures—a phone call from a friend restoring classic cars, a trip to hunt for more wood—pulls me in unexpected directions. The search is just as thrilling as the creation.
